Philip Cohen and Elaina McMillan Endowed Graduate Fellowship

College of Liberal Arts – English The Phillip Cohen and Elaina McMillan Fellowship recipients must be full time graduate students pursuing a doctoral degree in the Department of English and will be working as a graduate assistant at least half-time. (This award may be renewed in subsequent years)

  • Recipients must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.5
  • Hold a current Graduate Teaching Assistantship of 50% or greater
  • Must be enrolled full time in the PHD program in English
  • Completed at least one semester of course work

Need to upload:

  • A statement of research interests and goals for the future(500 words max)
  • Three letters of recommendation from UTA English graduate professors who have taught you
  • Unofficial transcript
