Welcome to Mav ScholarShop! Mav ScholarShop is a one-stop shop designed to give you the most comprehensive access to UTA’s generous scholarship offerings.

Please note that we will be transitioning to a new scholarship software. Scholarship opportunities for fall are closed and any applications started in the new system will not be transferred over. Scholarship opportunities for fall 2024 and spring 2025 will re-open in Mav ScholarShop in mid-November.

How You Are Matched To Scholarship Opportunities

As a current or newly-admitted student, Mav ScholarShop has created a student profile for you – also referred to as a general application based on your information in MyMav. Your general application is matched nightly with open scholarship opportunities across campus.

You may be automatically matched with scholarships for which you meet the criteria, and your profile will be available to the awarding department for review. These automatch scholarships will be listed as “None” under the Action column, which means no further action is required on your part.
OR
You may be a good candidate for a scholarship, but more information is required. "Apply” will appear under the Action column, and you will have to complete an application to apply for that scholarship. These are Recommended scholarships found under the Opportunities drop-down menu above.

Browse all available scholarships by selecting All under the Opportunities drop-down menu above.
Filter by school, college, department, or area of study (major), by selecting the Show Filters icon above and select one or more options.
Search by keyword by entering your keyword in the text field below. Common keyword searches include your year in school (e.g., sophomore) and major.

Get Started

Log in. Log in to Mav ScholarShop using your UTA student email and MyMav password. Check back regularly to review your profile and to look for new scholarship opportunities.
View scholarship opportunities filtered according to your profile by clicking Recommended under Opportunities. Recommended does not mean that you are qualified, but the system sees you as a potential match. To apply directly for a Recommended opportunity, you must complete and submit the additional application associated with that opportunity.
Scholarship deadlines vary, so log in often to view any new scholarships or to check on pending scholarship applications.

Qualifying and applying to scholarships does not guarantee that you will be offered a scholarship. This is a competitive process. If you need assistance with Mav ScholarShop or have any questions, please contact the Scholarships Office at schol@uta.edu.
