Maverick Rainbow Scholarship

The University of Texas at Arlington LGBTQ+ Program’s Maverick Rainbow Scholarship shall be granted to a student who demonstrates inclusive excellence at UTA through the program’s pillars of Education, Support, and Advocacy. Selected recipients will be presented with the one-time scholarship award of $500.00 during Lavender Graduation. This ceremony is hosted annually in April and scholarship recipients must attend the reception in order to receive the award. Former scholarship recipients who continue to be in good academic standing may reapply for the scholarship. All awards will be made according to prevailing University and departmental policies and protocols.
