Ruano Community Scholarship

Applicants must:

*Be incoming freshmen *Be high school graduates from the following school districts: Azle, Bowie, Bridgeport, Decatur, Rhome, or Springtown;
  • Show commitment and responsibility to their communities by either volunteering or working locally
  • Have financial need as evidenced by a personal financial statement.

Students are eligible to apply to renew their scholarship for a total of four years, contingent upon maintaining satisfactory academic progress and continued volunteer service or community engagement at UTA or in the student’s home community.
