Arthur R. Poor Graduate Scholarship in Civil Engineering

College of Engineering – Civil Engineering Construction Research Center The Arthur R. Poor Graduate Scholarship was established in January 1991 to honor the memory of the late Arthur R. Poor, Associate Director of the Construction Research Center and Professor of Civil Engineering at the University of Texas at Arlington. The scholarship provides support for qualified graduate students in the Civil Engineering Department. Recipients must be pursuing a Master’s degree or PhD in CE, have unconditional admission, and be a US citizen or permanent resident. Master’s students must have a 3.2 GPA on their last 60 hours of major undergraduate course work and a 300 GRE. PhD students must have a 3.5 GPA on courses taken during their Master’s program and a 320 GRE.
