George W. and Lana B. Proctor Endowed Scholarship

Family, friends, and colleagues established this endowed scholarship to honor our beloved colleague and friend, George Proctor. He was an honored member of the family of the Department of Communication for more than 12 years. He was many things: a freelance writer, editor, artist, philosopher, and an enthusiastic educator. George Proctor’s legacy lives on through all those students, colleagues, and friends whose lives he touched.

Eligibility:

• Applicants must be undergraduate students majoring in Advertising, Communication Technology, Journalism, or Public Relations
• If selected, applicants must remain in good standing for the fall semester.

• statement of career goals and financial need
• an unofficial transcript
