Lloyd Clark Journalism Scholarship

College of Liberal Arts – Communication This endowed scholarship honors 1942 graduate Lloyd Clark and is given to an undergraduate student who intends to follow a news-editorial career. It is the hope of Mr. Clark’s classmates that those receiving the scholarship can match his performance on the Dallas Morning News, Phoenix Gazette, and Arizona Weekly Gazette.

Eligibility:

• Applicants must be a journalism major at UTA,
• be a junior or senior,
• have completed 15 hours at UTA, and
• be a full-time student in the fall semester in fall

In order to apply, you must submit the following materials:

• application
• statement of career goals and financial need
• a writing sample
• an unofficial transcript
