Arlington Conservation Council Endowment for Scholarship and Research (Summer Opportunity)

The Arlington Conservation Council Endowment for Scholarship and Research, supported by Arlington’s Conservation Council, is for current students interested in conducting undergraduate research within the fields of conservation of natural resources full-time during the summer of 2024.

Scholarships will be given to undergraduate students who have:

  • Attended the University for two consecutive semesters immediately before the application deadline;
  • Sophomore standing and/or at UTA for 2 consecutive semesters
  • Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher;
  • Enroll full-time in a field of study relevant to the Donor’s mission;
  • Demonstrate their career interests and how the scholarship funds would help them advance toward their goals.
  • A research mentor

Preference will be given to research activities that: benefit the City of Arlington; are interdisciplinary and multiorganizational; and leverage the resources of other entities. The Arlington Conservation Council (ACC) is a 501c3 organization whose mission is: “ACC works to protect Arlington’s natural environment through education, community service, and advocacy for a sustainable future”.
