Honors Presidential Scholarship

Honors College Honors Presidential Scholarships were established during UTA’s 1995 Centennial Year Celebration by then-University President Robert E. Witt. This scholarship may be renewed for up to three additional years.

Eligibility Requirements: Full-time entering Freshmen, Continuing, and Transfer Honors students

*Entering freshmen: *
Combined Reading/Writing and Math SAT score of 1270,
ACT composite score of 27, OR
Graduation in the top 10% of their high school class (U.S. high schools only)

Continuing and transfer students:
3.2 cumulative GPA

Additional Exceptions and Limitations: You cannot receive this scholarship if you are awarded a General Scholarship/Maverick Academic Scholarship from the UTA Scholarship Office of equal or greater value.
