North Central Texas Region of the Texas Water Utilities Association Scholarship Endowment Fund
This Scholarship will be awarded to undergraduate students interested in entering environmental professions upon getting a BS in environmental science, geology, biology or chemistry. Preferences are given to those students who have taken over 60 hours of credit at UT Arlington, have demonstrated academic success and achievement, and are current members, spouses or children of members of the following district associations of TWUA: Apollo, Blacklands, Metrocast, Mid-cities, North Central Texas, Texoma Land, Twin Basin, White Rock and North Texas Chapter/Laboratory Analysts Section.
No recommendation letter is required, but a short essay of ~250 words describing career interest, academic achievement, and financial need is required.
