Joe R. Martin Scholars Program

College of Engineering – Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Scholarships given to entering freshmen students who plan to major in mechanical engineering at UTA. Selection will be based on academic record, SAT or ACT scores, extracurricular activities, and potential for becoming a successful mechanical engineer as judged by the Scholarship Committee of the Mechanical Engineering Department. In addition, recipients of the four-year award must maintain a grade point average of 3.0/4.0 or above for the duration of the scholarship, Financial need is not a consideration.
