John Berry Rogers Endowed Scholarship Fund

Students who demonstrate dedicated and spirited involvement and hold a leadership role in a student organization are eligible for this award. This award may be used for tuition, fees, books, room and board, or other living essentials. Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered:

  • be in good standing with the university,
  • plan to re-enroll for at least one more semester from the time of application,
  • maintain a 2.5 grade point average, and
  • hold a leadership role in a student organization.

Two letters of recommendation by a UTA faculty/staff member must also be provided. The scholarship may be renewed for up to 3 years (award amount may vary from initial award). Membership in the UTA Ambassadors, an academic association or a Division of Student Affairs special interest group is a preferred, but not mandatory, qualification.

This award will be honored and recognized at the Leadership Recognition Ceremony on April 15th @ 6:30 pm in Bluebonnet Ballroom.
