Jack Fitzer Endowed Scholarship Fund

College of Engineering – Electrical Engineering The Jack Fitzer Endowed Scholarship has been established to honor Dr. Fitzer’s dedicated service and outstanding contributions to The University of Texas at Arlington. Dr. Fitzer joined the faculty in September 1967. He served in the capacities of Interim Department Chair, Associate Chair, and Department Chair, retiring in 2001. He returned as Graduate Advisor in 2002 for a period of 2 years. Awards will be given to outstanding students with a preference for Graduate students who are United States citizens or permanent residents majoring in electrical engineering.
