License Plate Scholarship

The University of Texas at Arlington is excited to offer the License Place Scholarship for incoming, transfer students that will be starting their first semester at UTA in the spring. The License Plate Scholarship is funded by purchases made from the State of Texas license plate sales with the University of Texas at Arlington’s insignia.

Qualifications for this scholarship include the following:

• Must be at the undergraduate level
• New to UTA with the first semester of attendance spring
• Be a resident of the State of Texas
• Maintain full-time enrollment
• Enroll in a degree seeking program
• Be working on your first baccalaureate degree
• Proof of Selective Service Registration or that you are exempt

Included in the criteria for awarding this scholarship is “demonstrated financial need” which requires the completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). If you have not completed this form, please go to http://www.uta.edu/fao/ for further information and assistance.

This scholarship is an automatch opportunity which means that if you are qualified, you will be automatically considered. This scholarship is stackable with other scholarships offered through the UTA Scholarships Office. Mav ScholarShop software is designed to send only offer emails, not regrets.
