For College of Business Accounting Students Only

By completing the Spring Semester scholarship application you are applying for ALL Department of Accounting scholarships for which you are eligible. The Department of Accounting awards over $100,000 in scholarships annually to qualified Accounting majors (undergraduate and master’s). These scholarship funds come from a number of sources including endowed scholarship accounts, firms who recruit on campus, professional associations and generous individual donors.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:

• Must have declared Accounting as your major in MyMav.

• Must have an Accounting GPA AND an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.

• Must have at least one semester remaining to complete your undergraduate or graduate accounting degree after Spring 2024 (anticipated graduation is Summer 2024 or later) or be a FastTrack student currently in the last semester of your undergraduate program.

• Preference for some scholarships will be given to students who have completed more accounting credit hours.

• The application includes additional criteria-seeking questions that are required for some scholarships (example: citizenship status). All questions must be completed to be considered for scholarship awards.
