Wanda Slagle Scholarship Endowment

College of Science – Earth and Environmental Sciences The Wanda Slagle Scholarship was established in 2003 by the Geology Alumni Advisory Council, students and friends of the Department of Geology to honor the career of Wanda Slagle, an administrative assistant in the department until her retirement in 1999. The purpose of this scholarship is to assist students with field camp expenses, which are an added expense associated with studying geology.

To be eligible, an applicant must be an Undergraduate Geology BS major planning to attend Field Camp and must have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher. The scholarship must be used to assist with field camp expenses.
