Coleen Shannon Memorial Scholarship Endowment Fund

School of Social Work Donor Information
Dr. M. Coleen Shannon was an expert on biofeedback in stress reduction and management, and operated a biofeedback laboratory in the School of Social Work facilities. This scholarship was established in 2002 to honor and recognize Dr. Shannon for her positive influence on UT Arlington social work students and contributions to the profession of social work, and to provide financial assistance for social work students at UT Arlington.

Basic Requirements
BSW and MSW students

Preferred qualifications

  • Undergraduate or graduate students whose major field of study is Social Work
  • Students must apply in writing to compete for this scholarship
  • One or more of the following:
    *Demonstrated financial need
    *Evidence of academic potential
    1st semester MSW students can list undergraduate GPA
