Dr. John H. Matthys, P.E. Scholarship

College of Engineering – Civil Engineering Construction Research Center: The Dr. John H. Matthys, P.E. Undergraduate/Graduate UTA Student Scholarship provides support for qualified UTA undergraduate/graduate students in Architecture, Civil Engineering and Construction. To provide scholarships to students in Architecture, Civil Engineering, and Construction Engineering/Construction Management who have an interest in the construction industry and unconditional admission. Students must have scored 1100 on the SAT or GRE, have a GPA of 3.0 for undergraduates or 3.2 for graduates on last 60 hours of major undergraduate course work, and maintain a GPA of 3.0 for undergraduates or 3.5 for graduates. Preference shall be given to a U.S. citizen or permanent resident when all applicants are equal
according to the above criteria.
