Irving Healthcare Foundation/Baylor MedicalCenter At Irving Scholarship

College of Nursing Conditional Application – The Irving Healthcare Foundation/Baylor Medical Center at Irving Scholarship shall be used to benefit the College of Nursing. Scholarships shall be provided support nursing students in their second and third semesters of study in the BSN program. With satisfactory progress toward a degree, recipients may continue to receive this scholarship assistance for more than one year. Students must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents to apply.

Requirements:
Students in their second or third semesters of nursing classes are eligible for scholarship funds. Awards are based on the following criteria, in order of priority:

  • Pursuing BSN
  • Academic performance (3.00 nursing GPA minimum B AVERAGE or better)
  • US citizen or permanent resident
  • Leadership (community service, professional organization activities, etc.)
  • Financial need
  • Other criteria, such as good professional character

It is requested that each recipient write a note of appreciation directed to the Irving Healthcare Foundation’s Board of Directors in the year they receive the scholarship, and be available to speak “if so requested” to this board at one of its regular meetings during the year.

Note: All scholarship offer notifications will be sent via your UTA email account ONLY. Please check it frequently. Scholarships are not awarded in the summer. Applications submitted during the Spring are awarded in the Fall and applications submitted in the Fall are awarded in the Spring. After submitting your application, please confirm application was submitted. Only completed applications will be considered.
